Time magazine has chosen their 2011 Person of the Year as the Protestor. They explain in the magazine that for a couple of decades protests (and their effectiveness) seemed to disappear. Now the magazine says that we’ve seen a year of protests and these uprisings have been preludes to revolutions: Time also says they hope that the person of the year chosen will continue to have the same success in the year to come.
