Sporting goggles, snorkels flippers and life preservers, more than 150 demonstrators marched on the big banks on Jan 30 to call attention to the scourge of underwater mortgages. Local foreclosure victims were joined by allies from Occupy Wall Street, Occupy Boston and the MASSUNITING coalition to demand financial institutions take meaningful steps to address the mortgage crisis by reducing the principal owed on underwater homes.
