This video is Mr. Derrick Kinley telling his story in his own words about his fight to keep his home. He tells you how he came to own his home and the fight he is in with the big bail out banks to keep it. In 2005 Mr. Kinley and his wife bought their home from Countrywide, which is now owned by Bank of America. The Kinley]s made their mortgage payments and were living the American Dream until in 2010 they suffered a family emergency. They reached out to Bank of America to get a loan modification as they were temporarily unable to make their payments. What did the bank do, they told them make the payments or they would foreclose on the home. They offered no assistance. Now in April of 2012 The Kinleys have had their home sold at auction to none other than Freddie Mac.

Please take the tiime to listen to his story and to note the inspiring message he has for all the other homeowners out there being preyed upon by the big banks. This video is an inspiration.

As of April, 2012 the Kinleys are still fighting to stay in their home. Occupy Austin Bank Action has joined them in the fight. Occupy has reached out to the community to find legal assistance and foreclosure defense resources to help them stay in their home.
